ALLAN FISHER, Ed.D., FCEP
EMERITUS

Allan joined Thompson & Associates in 2008 after nearly 40 years in secondary and higher education.  As an educator, he honed his listening skills and abilities to lead others through complex, challenging situations.  He finds great joy in working with and empowering others.

After teaching high school for 10 years, Allan was a professor at Walla Walla University for twenty-eight years where he also served as Director of Estate Planning Services. He derives great joy from assisting individuals and families as they develop comprehensive estate plans that meet their goals of present and future security as well as facilitating their wishes for eventual wise distributions of their estates.

Outside of work, Allan loves to fly airplanes. He has been an active pilot, flight instructor and mentor to students for fifty years logging over 8,000 hours in most types of flying machines.

Allan volunteers for the local Christian Aid Society, the Humane Society and is active in his local church. He has been married to his wife, Donna, for 50 years.  They have two daughters and two grandsons.
